I plan to go to an English school after I graduate from University of Calgary and I'll go back to my country next March. I hope that my English improve until then. I feel a little sense of fulfillment that I finished all of classes now. But I feel a little sad at the same time. Thank you for everything...Julie and my classmate of RW2A!! It was great time!
Post # 8 - Online Games that are Good?
There are a lot of free online game in the Internet and I found a crossword puzzle game from the link. This game is a grid of the empty and filled spaces. Players have to read the question and guess the words. It's really simple. This game is good for our practice that remember the spelling. Also, online games are good, because we can play the games eazier and it's free. We don't need to pay for it. On the other hand, sometimes online games cause some ploblem. We need to be careful.

I finished reading an article from the Calgary Metro about "Manners" on Calgary C-trains. Recently, it happened same things in my country. I usually don't use the priority seating. But when we sit the priority seating, we have to remember where we sit. I think that people was more polite in the past. With technology development going up, people is becoming impolite. I think we need to try to be nice each other.

I'm talking about C-train Etiquette. I think C-train is sometimes unpleasant. For example, some people left garbage. In my country, we usually don't litter in the trains and the busses. I can't understand why some people left garbage, there are many trash cans each stations. The others, some people talk loudly on the train. Personally, we don't need more written rules of etiquette, but we should try to remember our manners.

I will talk about counterfeit products. Usually, I don't buy counterfeit products. Because most of counterfeit product's quality is poor and those can't stand long use. But it is getting difficult to recognize that is fake. Because the counterfeit products looked and felt like the original products. For example, the quality is same as original product and price also similar to original product. We may use or buy the counterfeit products without being noticed.

We have four days off this weekend. I'm going to talk about my plan for this weekend. First of all, I have to finish my homework until next Wednesday, therefore I'll study hard English on this weekend. Second, I'll go shopping to Cross Iron Mills with my homestay mate. My homestay mother took us to Cross Iron Mills last week. But we didn't have enough time for shopping because we arrived there at 7:30p.m. So, she will take us there again. I'm looking forward to it. Finally, I'll have lunch with my friend. I hope we will have good time. Otherwise, I'll spend most of time for my homework and studying.

Introduction
Hi, I am Marika. This is my first time writing
blog. I’m going to introduce myself. My name is Marika Sano. I’m from Kobe, Japan.
I grew up in small island called Awaji-Island. (In Awaji-Island, there is the
longest suspension bridge in the world.) I have a cat named Sakura. I was an
office worker for a hospital in Japan. I like skiing, hiking, reading books and
writing Japanese calligraphy. In University of Calgary, I would like to improve
my English, learn different cultures, make friends, and enjoy life in Calgary.
Nice to meeting you!
I’m going to talk about my best friend. My
friend’s job is farmer. I have been friend with her since we were elementary
school student. She likes growing plants and flowers. She was working at office
before she becomes a farmer. Five years ago, she suddenly decided to be a farmer.
I know that farming is very hard job, because my grandfather was farmer.
Sometimes she can’t get enough sleep. But she says “I can’t imagine a job that’s
more interesting”. She loves her job now. Also I’m glad that she could find her
ideal job.
In my country, money is called "Yen". 1 Canada dollar is 96 Japanese yen nowadays. We have 12 type of bills and coins. Bills are 10,000yen, 5,000yen, 2,000yen and 1,000yen. Coins are 500yen, 100yen, 50yen, 10yen, 5yen, 1yen. I think people usually use cash more than Canada. But recently, people who use credit card in Japan are increasing day by day. Compare the prices specific Japan and Canada, Canada is more expensive than Japan for every thing. For example, if you want to rent a room in Canada, the average cost may be $500 to $1000. And it will have roommate. If you pay this rent fee, you can rent own apartment in my country.

Post #2 - City Life or Country Life
I can't say which is good for our life. I think there're a good point and a weak point both of them. For example, city life is convenient. There're a lot of job, transportations, medical facilities, and shops. But, city is always crowded, noisy, and sometimes get into trouble. It makes us tired. On the other hand, country life is opposite to city life. I live in the city in Japan. Because I can get a job that I would like to do job. But I sometimes feel uncomfortable to live in the city.
